I’m out at Las Vegas today where the IMA (Internet Merchants Association) is hosting their conference which runs concurrently with the ASD/AMD show. We are founding sponsors of the IMA and have supported their efforts in creating a non-profit trade association for eBay/online sellers. The group has really taken off lately and looks like it’s going to surpass 200 active users.
I was invited to speak about Comparison Shopping Engines and have some interesting new data to share there. Later this week, I’ll be discussing the topic over at CSE strategies. This afternoon eBay has a keynote that should be interesting as this is their first ‘in front of seller’ appearance after all the changes announced in Jan and now rolling out to the site.
There’s also a Wall St. panel with eBay Strategies friends Bob Peck, Jim Friedland and eBay ‘uber-bear’ Derek Brown.
I’ll be posting later with a mood update from convos with sellers and also any interesting tidbits that come out.
Ina frm AuctionBytes is here so I suspect she’ll be way ahead of me on the blogging scene.
