Here is our first look at Cyber Monday – this is from midnight ET to 12pm ET. We include Thanksgiving and Black Friday finals for comparison purposes:
Overall, as of Noon, ET, Cyber Monday is showing 15.6% y/y growth – in-line with the comScore 16% forecast for Holiday 14, but a slower rate than we saw earlier in the Cyber Five (Thanksgiving @20.1% and Black Friday @ 22%).
- Top performing channels as of noon are eBay with 23.2% y/y growth and ‘Other 3PM’ at 74.6%.
- In-line (to the 16% expected holiday online sales from comScore) channels are Amazon and Search (Adwords).
- Under-performing channels are Google Shopping (3.6%) and CSE (down 8.4%).
