I get lots of questions about eBay Motors and while at ChannelAdvisor we have a rapidly growing auto parts business, we don’t do anything in the passenger vehicle part of the business. That being said I do get a lot of questions about that business and I thought it would be interesting to bring in a guest blogger before eBay’s earnings to tell us what they are seeing in that part of the business.
AutoRevo is like a ChannelAdvisor (channel management software) company, but instead of online retailers as users, their customers are auto dealers that are looking to sell their used (and sometimes new) inventory via eBay Motors and other channels.
One area I’m looking forward to hearing about from Chad is how the Finding 2.0 is doing on eBay Motors as that just rolled out and I’ve heard from some vehicle sellers via comments on the blog that it has been very problematic.
