It’s incredible how quickly time flies when you’re busy keeping up with the ever-changing world of e-commerce. A lot has happened in a year — the first Prime Air delivery was made successfully, Instagram went after Snapchat head-on and Alexa took the holidays by storm (to name a few!).

It’s hard to believe that a few months short of a year ago, we were telling the world — on the Catalyst stage no less — that ChannelAdvisor was going to be Walmart’s very first third-party launch partner on their biggest e-commerce venture: the revamped Walmart Marketplace. This partnership with Walmart provided us with the opportunity to connect our clients to a new channel that offers sellers the unique opportunity to sell on a marketplace with less competition (due to its highly selective admissions process) and impressive revenue potential (due to the sheer size of the Walmart brand).

Needless to say, it was a recipe for success.

Fast-forward to today, where, as one of Walmart’s largest integrators, we’ve helped hundreds of retailers get up, running and blowing past sales goals on the selective marketplace.

And now we’ve taken it one step further — giving our customers the ability to automate price changes across thousands of products and ensure that their products win the coveted Buy Box. We’re proud to announce the Algorithmic Repricer for Walmart. The newest repricer for Walmart joins the suite of repricing tools that we’ve been unrolling since our latest Expanded Product Suite release.

What’s a Repricer?

Let’s back up. Our suite of repricing technology uses machine learning and real-time analytics to help sellers maximize margin and win the Buy Box. They’re built to automatically adjust prices to keep sellers in line with competition on marketplaces like Amazon, Jet and now, Walmart. Pretty neat, right?

The Algorithmic Repricer for Walmart is similar to both the Amazon and Jet.com repricers, in that sellers can reprice within our platform at no additional cost. It’ll help sellers stay competitive and best of all, it’s easy to use. #win.

As for our decision to expand our repricing capabilities to Walmart, well, the proof was in the numbers. Our clients using the repricing tools on Amazon and Jet.com saw a 27% increase in Buy Box presence, a 50% increase in gross profits and an overall 47% increase in GMV.
