To help all retailers prepare for the holiday rush, we’ll be kicking our blog into high gear, sharing several holiday preparation tips as we lead up to the holiday season. We want to make sure you’re covered from all angles, so two tips per post — one on digital marketing and one on marketplaces — and two blogs per week. We’ll begin with the tips that take the most time to implement and end with the less complex. Let the prepping commence!
Ever feel like the time you have to prepare for the holiday season dwindles every year? And once the season hits, hours, days and weeks seem to go by at double the pace? So why waste time on logistics that you could automate? Below we’ll share a couple handy tools to streamline your shipping and advertising processes.
Marketplaces Tip #11: Consider Multi-Channel Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA)
If you’re unaware, ChannelAdvisor’s Multi-Channel FBA will enable you to use Amazon’s Multi-Channel Fulfillment program to fulfill orders placed through your webstore, or even other marketplaces, using your FBA quantity. With Multi-Channel FBA, you can route sales from other channels (while also juggling your inventory quantity) to Amazon for fulfillment with FBA.
Digital Marketing Tip #11: Use the Product Group Generator
Whether you made the change to Google’s Shopping campaigns a few months ago or are just getting started with Product Listing Ads, the ChannelAdvisor Product Group Generator can save you valuable time by automating the entire campaign segmentation process. Simply input your desired structure and indicate a starting bid for each segment.
The Product Group Generator then ensures that the segmentation stays in sync with your data feed, eliminating the need for you to manually update it when you add new products. You can also easily review and make bid changes in bulk across all ad groups from a single view. Finally, the Product Group Generator’s automation process removes the risk of including the same products in multiple product groups.
We always love hearing about your progress as we approach one of the busiest times of year, so feel free to update us in the comments below.
Be on the lookout for the next post in our holiday series. We’ll discuss shipping options and strategies for going mobile with marketplaces!
