Scarpetta Shoes Expands to 22 Marketplaces, Grows International Sales 1,000%
Scarpetta Shoes, a retailer of womenâs designer shoes at discount prices, carved out a small online niche for itself in its first few years â first on its website and later on marketplaces like Amazon and eBay.
But as the business grew, managing its growing inventory became more difficult. The team often oversold items because they couldnât automate inventory listing, pricing and fulfillment.
Since launching with ChannelAdvisor, Scarpetta has expanded to 22 marketplaces, synced inventory across all channels and even grew its international sales by 1,000% in one year. Learn more about its success in this video. Â

Did you know e-commerce businesses can now trigger a sales tax collection obligation in states where they have significant sales but no physical presence?
For decades, the prevailing rule was generally that only businesses with a physical presence in a state could be required to register, collect the applicable sales taxes and remit the collected revenue to the appropriate tax authorities.
Since many e-commerce businesses have a limited physical footprint, the physical presence rule protected them from having to collect sales tax in many states. But those days are over. Learn more about how this tax law might affect you in this guest blog from ChannelAdvisor partner Avalara.
