Catalyst Americas is six short days away! We’ve been hearing from lots of retailers, branded manufacturers, partners and industry experts who are already packing their bags for Vegas.

Moneyball on Deck

The leadoff hitter for the conference is Billy Beane, executive vice president of baseball operations for the Oakland Athletics. Beane is the inspiration for the book and movie “Moneyball” and will present a keynote session titled “Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game.”

Beane will break down how companies of all sizes and verticals can implement data-based strategies to effectively, efficiently and profitably manage their assets, talent and resources.

The Future of E-Commerce

Next up will be ChannelAdvisor SEO David Spitz. Spitz will deliver Tuesday morning’s keynote presentation and will detail the trends shaping the future of e-commerce and what retailers and brands need to do to keep up with the accelerating pace of change.
