In February, Facebook launched dynamic product ads, a type of retargeting ad that helps retailers promote their products to Facebook users. This new ChannelAdvisor-supported ad type can target your shoppers based on their behavior on your website. Unlike more traditional ad formats, Facebook dynamic product ads are driven by product data feeds and are served in a user’s Facebook news feed on both desktop and mobile devices.
Initially, dynamic product ads rolled out with limited availability, requiring retailers to obtain approval directly from Facebook. Last week, however, Facebook removed this requirement and opened the ad type to all retailers that are using Power Editor to manage their Facebook ads.
