In the last few months we’ve seen some exciting changes from eBay. From eBay Plus to Guaranteed Delivery, eBay’s dedication to creating a supreme experience for the consumer means that it is constantly evolving. To provide a simpler, cleaner shopping experience for customers, eBay will now require retailers to match their listings for selected categories to the eBay Catalogue.
The new product-based shopping experience will group listings with the same eBay Product ID (ePID). By matching your listings to the eBay catalogue, buyers can easily find merchandise that meets their search criteria and quickly decide on products to purchase. The new product pages will show the spectrum of value and item conditions available on eBay and the top product slot for an item will appear using an algorithm that combines factors such as price, inventory, delivery experience, seller standards and return options.
You have already noticed that Seller Hub and My eBay have been showing recommendations on your existing listings that need updating to comply with the new requirement.

On 30 July 2018, eBay will be rolling out phase 2 of the ePIDs. If you sell in any of the following categories, please have your ePIDs mapped into your ChannelAdvisor feed template:
