DigitalFirst strategy programme. In fiscal year 2019/2020, Douglas generated sales of 3.2 billion euros in the areas of perfumery, decorative cosmetics, skin and hair care as well as nutritional supplements and accessories. In addition to a majority stake in NICHE BEAUTY, Douglas launched an exclusive partner program in 2019, marking the first Marketplace for beauty products in Europe. Started on the German home market, the Marketplace will be successively rolled out internationally.

In 2020, Douglas continued to develop its successful #FORWARDBEAUTY strategy program in a targeted manner and, under the premise DIGITAL FIRST, will integrate Douglas online stores, Marketplace and stores on a digitally networked, data-based beauty platform in the future. Douglas is thus placing digital beauty retailing at the center of its growth strategy, transforming itself from a retailer with an online store into a digital company with a brick-and-mortar business.
