April 17, 2013 Spencer Stuart, Inc. and WSL Strategic Retail to Present at Catalyst Americas 2013

Research Triangle Park, NC – April 17, 2013ChannelAdvisor, a leading provider of cloud-based e-commerce solutions that enable retailers and manufacturers to increase global sales, today announced that recruitment expert Anthony Laudico of Spencer Stuart and retail strategist Wendy Liebmann of WSL Strategic Retail will each present at ChannelAdvisor’s annual Catalyst Americas Conference. The conference will be held April 29-May 1, 2013 at the M Resort in Las Vegas. Mr. Laudico will present on Wednesday, May 1 at 10:45 a.m. PDT and Ms. Liebmann’s presentation will be held at 9:30 a.m. PDT the same day.

Anthony Laudico will present E-Commerce Rock Stars Wanted, a 45-minute discussion on how to recruit, hire and retain employees who have mastered the e-commerce space. A former operating partner for software and technology for SV Investment Partners, Mr. Laudico currently leads Spencer Stuart’s search efforts in the e-commerce sector within its technology, media and telecommunications practice. Bringing more than 20 years of experience in the digital media and technology industries, he focuses on executive-level and board searches in the e-commerce ecosystem, which includes top digital general managers and digitally oriented chief marketing officers and chief technology officers. Mr. Laudico has worked with clients such as  Walmart, Neiman Marcus, Barnes & Noble, OfficeMax and others.

Wendy Liebmann, CEO and Chief Shopper at WSL Strategic Retail, will present The Modern Shopper in the Online Habitat, providing a view of retail from the shopper’s perspective, and strategic insight on how smart retailers are leveraging various devices and channels to best connect with their customers.  As founder of WSL Strategic Retail, which consults with retailers and manufacturers worldwide, Ms. Liebmann is recognized as the leading authority on shopper mindset and buying behaviors. She works with clients across various industries to equip brands and retailers with the strategies required to stay ahead of the market and motivate shoppers to purchase. Additionally, Ms. Liebmann is frequently invited to share her insights on the state of retail at such prominent media outlets as CBS, ABC, CNN, the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, and at retail conferences throughout the world.
