March 14, 2011 Google to Deliver Exclusive Keynote on Multichannel Commerce at ChannelAdvisor’s Catalyst Conference

Research Triangle Park, NC – March 14, 2011 – ChannelAdvisor, a software and services solution provider that enables online retailers to sell more across e-commerce channels, today announced that Google Group Product Manager for Commerce Nitin Mangtani will speak about the opportunities presented by multichannel commerce at this year’s Catalyst conference being held April 4-6, 2011, at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club in Durham, N.C.  Forrester Research Inc. Vice President and Principal Analyst Sucharita Mulpuru will also deliver a multichannel commerce keynote at Catalyst with an emphasis on emerging channels.

In his keynote, Mangtani will discuss how the popularity of smart phones and rich mobile applications are accelerating multichannel commerce in new and exciting ways. He will discuss some of the latest technologies that facilitate shoppers’ ability to do product research, price comparisons and determine local store availability on the go. Mangtani will also provide insight as to how new innovations in shopping are impacting consumer behavior and how Google is helping retailers connect seamlessly with shoppers.

Forrester’s Mulpuru will further the discussion with her keynote focused on emerging channels and maximizing the benefit of mobile commerce, social commerce, tablet commerce and more. Mulpuru will share with retailers how consumers are using these channels and the value of tailoring their e-commerce strategy to respond to shoppers’ patterns.
