April 28, 2013 ChannelAdvisor Reinvents Search Solution, Supports Multi-channel FBA and More in 2013 Spring Release
E-commerce software company delivers technology tailored to retail marketers
Research Triangle Park, NC – April 29, 2013 –ChannelAdvisor, a leading provider of cloud-based e-commerce solutions that enable retailers and manufacturers to increase global sales, today announced its 2013 Spring Release, introducing new technology to help online retailers master the complexity of online selling. The 2013 Spring Release offers a reinvented Paid Search solution, virtualized inventory capabilities and several additional platform updates.
“Our goals are to make life easier for online retailers and help them grow their businesses,” said ChannelAdvisor CEO Scot Wingo. “To do this we’ve released features designed specifically for retail search marketers. We’ve also given retailers the capability to juggle inventory across multiple channels and countries, improved fulfillment options and provided various other platform updates. The 2013 Spring Release is a win for our retailers, and I look forward to demonstrating the power of these new software features at our annual Catalyst Americas conference.”
ChannelAdvisor’s reinvented Paid Search solution is designed by retail search marketers and provides retail-specific insights and actionable reporting to streamline the complexity and create efficiencies in retailers’ PPC programs. ChannelAdvisor now offers features such as a revamped Keyword Generator, Negative Keyword Suggestions and a Seasonal Bid Adjuster, which help retailers make smarter advertising decisions and spend less advertising dollars. Additionally, the Spring Release offers a foundation for Google Enhanced Campaigns. ChannelAdvisor’s reporting enhancements now give retailers full visibility into keyword and campaign performance by device, which are critical for strategic bidding and improving ROI with Enhanced Campaigns.
“Bidding through ChannelAdvisor’s actionable reporting feature is much more efficient than bidding directly in the search providers’ platforms,” said Discount Ramps President Joel Lederhause. “We love how it’s all on one page, and we can quickly bid on metrics across providers.”
In addition to an improved Paid Search solution, ChannelAdvisor now offers retailers the ability to virtualize inventory. Retailers can juggle inventory quantity across advertising channels, including eBay’s global sites, in order to advertise their full quantity everywhere online. Retailers can share that same quantity between eBay sites in different countries using the eBay Quantity Allocation Option, which broadens product visibility while mitigating the risk of overselling.
“ChannelAdvisor’s support of Multi-channel Fulfillment by Amazon helps me fulfill more orders more efficiently than ever before,” said Colton Wiles, Owner of SoftwareCW.com. “With this program, I’m now able to successfully complete the online sales process at a faster rate. Also, I’m better equipped to meet my customers’ expectations and maintain positive seller ratings across all marketplaces.”
With the 2013 Spring Release ChannelAdvisor also supports Multi-channel Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), where retailers can fulfill through Amazon all sales that occur on any marketplace and keep track of success within the ChannelAdvisor platform. Other platform updates included in the 2013 Spring Release are further enhancements to ChannelAdvisor’s Google Shopping, Amazon and eBay offerings.
