July 25, 2013 ChannelAdvisor Named a Finalist for Online Retail Awards 2013

E-Commerce platform’s Google Shopping solution shortlisted for Online Retail Marketing Campaign of the Year

London, UK – 25 July 2013ChannelAdvisor (NYSE: ECOM), a leading provider of cloud-based e-commerce solutions that enable retailers and manufacturers to increase global sales, has today announced that it has been shortlisted as a finalist for the 2013 Online Retail Awards  in the Online Retail Marketing Campaign of the Year category based on retailers’ results using its Google Shopping solution.

The Online Retail Awards (ORA) are independent, international and impartial business awards that aim to seek examples of retailers’ web, mobile and tablet sites that offer an excellent shopping experience for customers. ChannelAdvisor’s Google Shopping solution helps retailers to optimise their Product Listing Ads (PLAs) to increase online visibility and search advertising results. ChannelAdvisor developed its Google Shopping solution based on Google’s change to its Product Search program in 2012, switching from a free advertising model to the Google Shopping platform that requires bid management much like traditional AdWords programs.

The transition to Google Shopping has had both financial and strategic implications for online businesses and ChannelAdvisor’s expertise in online retail has helped retailers adapt and navigate this change successfully. Specifically, ChannelAdvisor offers retailers the ability to efficiently handle their product data feeds, product optimisation, bid optimisation, promotions and finally, in-depth reporting.
