Research Triangle Park, NC – June 15, 2015 (Click to Tweet) – ChannelAdvisor Corporation (NYSE:ECOM), a leading provider of cloud-based e-commerce solutions that enable retailers and manufacturers to increase global sales, today announced that it will host a webinar titled “Unwrapping Holiday 2015: E-Commerce Trends and Outlook” on Monday, June 22 at 1 p.m. EDT. During the webinar, ChannelAdvisor Executive Chairman Scot Wingo will discuss trends and consumer expectations for the 2015 holiday season, and review ways that retailers can capitalize on different revenue opportunities.
“Retailers started their holiday promotions much earlier in 2014 than in previous years. As a result, consumers were very active in late November and early December,” said Wingo. “Our upcoming webinar will outline trends to watch out for this year, ways to adapt to changing consumer behaviors and a checklist of top holiday priorities and strategies retailers should consider.”
In 2014, ChannelAdvisor customers’ Same Store Sales (SSS) increased 20.6 percent year over year during the five days from Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday. This growth exceeded comScore’s 2014 prediction of 16 percent year-over-year growth in e-commerce spending during the holiday season. ChannelAdvisor publishes SSS reports throughout the holiday season to highlight transactional data in gross merchandise value that flows through the ChannelAdvisor platform and measure the relative performance of online channels such as Amazon, eBay and Google.
Specifically, webinar attendees will gain:
- Lessons learned from the holiday 2014 season
- The latest e-commerce developments that are changing how consumers shop online
- Tactics to help retailers increase holiday sales and stay ahead of competitors
- A sneak peek at holiday data from ChannelAdvisor’s 2015 Online Retail Survey
