Research Triangle Park, NC – April 25, 2017 – ChannelAdvisor Corporation (NYSE:ECOM), a leading provider of cloud-based e-commerce solutions that enable retailers and branded manufacturers to increase global sales, today announced a new strategic partnership with eBay. ChannelAdvisor manages billions of dollars in annual sales on eBay, and through this strategic partnership the companies will jointly implement programs to help enable growth for eBay and ChannelAdvisor clients.

“Since our founding 16 years ago, eBay has been a core partner to ChannelAdvisor and we’re excited to strengthen that relationship,” said David Spitz, ChannelAdvisor CEO. “This strategic partnership will allow us to more closely work with the eBay team to help drive growth for our mutual customers on eBay.”

eBay serves as a strong and reliable partner to millions of sellers, offering them tremendous reach to more than 169 million active buyers across the globe, while providing tools and programs that drive sales velocity. With more than 1 billion live listings at any given time, eBay is one of the world’s largest and most vibrant marketplaces for discovering great value and unique selection. Approximately 80% of the items sold on the eBay marketplace today are new, while 87% of items are sold at fixed price.

“We have worked with ChannelAdvisor since their beginning and have always valued them as a trusted and reliable partner for us, as well as our sellers,” said Hal Lawton, eBay Senior Vice President of North America. “We’re excited to strengthen our strategic partnership and we look forward to helping our joint customers grow their businesses and expand their marketplace presence.”

ChannelAdvisor earlier announced that it was the first e-commerce solution provider to support eBay Promoted Listings. eBay Promoted Listings is an advertising program that surfaces seller listings in highly visible placements on a unique cost-per-sale model. Sellers bid for placement and only pay when there is a sale. As the first integrator to support eBay Promoted Listings through the API, ChannelAdvisor reviewed and helped shape technical documentation for the feature. Using ChannelAdvisor, retailers and brands can efficiently create and manage Promoted Listings campaigns to deliver ads for products that are tailored to consumer searches. Consumers who click on the ad are taken directly to the eBay product detail page where they can purchase the product.

In addition to support for eBay Promoted Listings, ChannelAdvisor also recently announced its Algorithmic Repricer for eBay. This repricer is the newest addition to ChannelAdvisor’s suite of repricing tools and offers sellers an opportunity to gain a competitive advantage. The Repricer is designed to help sellers stay competitive by improving the chance of winning top placement while maximizing margin through machine learning and real-time analytics. One ChannelAdvisor client saw a 220% increase in GMV week over week using the Algorithmic Repricer for eBay.
