CHANNELADVISOR ACHIEVES RECORD DAY OF $10 MILLION IN GROSS MERCHANDISE VALUE (GMV)
Record day shows impressive reliability, scalability, availability in ChannelAdvisor solutions
Research Triangle Park, NC– December 06, 2006 –ChannelAdvisor, the leading provider of channel management solutions (CMS), today reported the company had their first $10 million global gross merchandise value (GMV) day, Monday December 4th, 2006. The ChannelAdvisor technology platform saw new record performance across all geographies and online channels.
- Search – ChannelAdvisor paid search (Google, Yahoo!, MSN, etc.) and natural search solutions had a record sales day, shattering the previous records set on “Black Friday” (November 24th, 2006)
- Comparison Shopping Engines (CSE) – ChannelAdvisor CSE (Shopping.com, Shopzilla, Froogle, etc.) solutions also set a record GMV day, exceeding the previous record set on Cyber Monday (November 27th, 2006)
- Marketplaces – Across all geographies (US/UK/DE), ChannelAdvisor marketplace (eBay, Amazon.com, Overstock.com, etc.) solutions recorded record GMV, exceeding the previous record set on Cyber Monday (November 27th, 2006)

- ChannelAdvisor’s checkout system had over 43,000 transactions - representing $30 in GMV/per second
- ChannelAdvisor’s comparison shopping solutions delivered over 200m items to comparison shopping engines
