ChannelAdvisor and Top Online Businesses Celebrate Success
of First Annual Marathon Conference

Research Triangle Park, NC - May 18, 2004 - Building upon years of leadership in online marketplaces, ChannelAdvisor celebrated its first Marathon conference, May 12-13, 2004, in Research Triangle Park. Marathon 2004 was devoted to online businesses, key marketplaces such as eBay (NASDAQ: EBAY) and Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN) and shopping engines and portals including Shopping.com, FindWhat (NASDAQ: FWHT), Overture (NASDAQ: YHOO) and MSN (NASDAQ: MSFT).

Marathon 2004 was a great success and another milestone for ChannelAdvisor and eBay's largest sellers. Over 110 conference attendees throughout North America retreated from daily workplace demands to strategize future business needs, learn new technology, functionality, and preview the latest small business solutions.

The conference program featured a keynote from Art.com on technology, marketing and innovation. General Sessions were held on eBay and eBay keywords, Inventory Control and Database Management, Merchandising and Branding, and e-commerce and Storefronts. In addition, there were panel discussions on Driving e-Commerce Traffic, Payment Processing and Fraud and The World's Leading Marketplaces. Finally, the expert roundtable discussions focused on eBay Item Specifics, Branding, Non-Paying Bidder Management, Scheduling and Shipping. At the conclusion of the conference, sellers returned home with new ideas on how to grow their businesses and an expanded network of contacts.

Feedback from the attendees was overwhelmingly positive. One online business expressed, "We found that it was exceptionally organized and it was really valuable having roundtable discussions on hot eBay topics. Talking with other customers and eBay sellers is such a benefit as well. We came away from the conference feeling like we are well positioned to expand our online business and prepare for future growth." Another attendee shared, "The quality of the speakers, sessions and roundtable discussions were excellent. It was worth the trip from California."
