ChannelAdvisor Signs Up Leading Wine Companies for eBay's New Wine Category
New Vine Logistics, Winetasting.com choose ChannelAdvisor as marketplace management solution

Research Triangle Park, NC - November 12, 2001 -. ChannelAdvisor Corporation today announced that it will be the enterprise marketplace management solution for two leading wine companies that will begin selling premium wine on eBay (NASDAQ: EBAY) in November.

New Vine Logistics and Winetasting.com will list the wine in a new sub-category in the food and beverage section of eBay's Home & Garden category. eBay is testing the sale of wine among its 37 million registered users for a trial period in a controlled environment with several licensed and qualified sellers. Using its integrated technology ChannelAdvisor will provide the two companies with the listing and auction management expertise needed to conclude successful transactions.

New Vine Logistics and Winetasting.com have been properly vetted and each is licensed to handle the sales and shipping of wine products in accordance with all applicable state and local regulations and laws.

During the trial period, the licensed sellers will be the only User ID's able to sell wine on eBay. During this period, all other sellers wanting to sell wine on eBay must go through one of the licensed, vetted sellers.
