| Grow your Business with National Parts Warehouse. | Fitment Management for the Online RetailerSpeaker: Adrian Klingel, Managing Partner, MyFitment
Vehicle Application Cataloging, or Fitment, is a concept that has been around for decades in the Automotive Aftermarket. While manufacturers of parts and accessories understand that their items are sold by application lookup (year, make, model, etc.), sellers have been slower to adopt the management of this information. Barriers to entry include a basic lack of understanding of the importance of fitment to sales, as well as cumbersome or expensive data management tools.
eBay’s launch of fitment for Motorcycles and Boats following its successful roll-out of Automotive compatibility puts the ball backing the sellers court when it comes to vehicle application data management. In this session, attendees will learn how to approach the complex problem of application fitment and how to treat application fitment data as a real business asset that directly impacts the bottom line. The presenter will also give a live demonstration of MyFitment, a supplemental tool designed to help
online sellers manage fitment and compatibility information against multiple standards and integrate those compatibilities with their online listings."
