CEO, Chairman of the Board and Co-Founder
CEO of ChannelAdvisor, Scot Wingo leads the company in its mission to provide retailers and manufacturers with the software and services needed to successfully sell their products via online sales channels. In tandem with his work at ChannelAdvisor, Scot is an industry thought leader, contributing regularly to several ChannelAdvisor blogs and speaking often at industry events. Prior to launching ChannelAdvisor, Scot occupied the roles of general manager of GoTo Auctions, CEO and co-founder of AuctionRover.com (acquired by GoTo.com) and CEO and co-founder of Stingray Software (acquired by RogueWave).
Scot received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Computer Engineering degree from North Carolina State University. Scot has received numerous awards including Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year and Triangle Business Journal’s Top 40 under 40.
Aris Buinevicius
Chief Technology Officer, Board Member and Co-Founder
As the chief technology officer, Aris Buinevicius drives the company’s technological vision and uses innovative knowledge management and development practices to enhance the company’s competitive edge. Prior to ChannelAdvisor, Aris was the Director of Technology at GoTo Auctions, CTO and co-founder of AuctionRover.com and CTO and co-founder of Stingray Software.
Aris received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University and Master of Computer Engineering degree from North Carolina State University. He was recently named to the 2010 InfoWorld CTO 25, honoring the top CTOs of 2010.
David Spitz
President & Chief Operating Officer
David Spitz, ChannelAdvisor’s president and COO, is responsible for global sales and marketing, services and general operations. Before joining ChannelAdvisor, Spitz founded and successfully exited multiple venture-backed software companies. He was most recently an entrepreneur-in-residence at the Aurora Funds, a venture capital firm with more than $200 million under management. Prior to Aurora, David was president of Avesair, a mobile marketing company that was acquired by Inphonic. Previous to Avesair, David was co-founder and CTO of Netsation, a network management software company acquired by Nortel Networks.
David received a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego. David recently was awarded the Triangle Business Journal’s 2010 CFO of the Year Award, and in 2008, David received the Triangle Business Journal’s Top 40 under 40 award. David has also been awarded three U.S. patents, is past chairman of the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics Foundation Board and is a member of the executive committee and board of directors for the North Carolina Council for Entrepreneurial Development.
John Baule
Chief Financial Officer
John Baule, Chief Financial Officer for ChannelAdvisor, oversees global financial operations and strategy for the company. In this capacity, he manages all accounting, treasury and cash management operations, financial planning and analysis, long-term strategic planning and investor relations, as well as human resources.
Before joining ChannelAdvisor in November 2012, John consulted for private equity investors on potential education acquisitions and most recently served as interim chief financial officer for INTO, a London-based global education company. With more than 20 years of experience in executive financial roles, John has served as COO and CFO of K12 Inc, leading them through an initial public offering, and Apollo Global, a leading post-secondary education company. Prior to those positions, he was CFO at Headstrong, a global consultancy services firm. Before Headstrong, John worked for Bristol-Myers Squibb, or BMS, where he began as a corporate internal auditor, held several Asia-Pacific based roles including finance director for BMS Philippines, and regional finance director for Asia Pacific in Hong Kong before progressing to regional finance director for the company’s international nutritional division. John began his career as an auditor with KPMG.
John received a B.B.A. degree in Accounting from the College of William and Mary, and he is a Certified Public Accountant.
Scott Alridge
General Counsel and Secretary
Serving as general counsel, secretary and vice president of new and emerging markets, Scott Alridge leads all legal and contractual matters and planning for ChannelAdvisor, including domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, software and intellectual property licensing, corporate governance, sales transactions and strategic/corporate development initiatives. Additionally, he is responsible for Asia-Pacific and Germany sales and operations as well as growth into emerging markets.
Previous to his employment at ChannelAdvisor, Alridge was an attorney at the corporate headquarters of Glenayre Electronics, a publicly held telecommunications company, where he worked extensively on a variety of domestic and international transactional and corporate matters. Scott also worked on numerous software, intellectual property and joint venture transactional matters while with IBM Corporation.Scott received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Juris Doctor from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University.
Paul Colucci
Vice President of Enterprise Sales
Vice president of enterprise sales, Paul Colucci oversees global enterprise sales, driving a company focus on customer acquisition and retention. In addition, he is responsible for generating new business and extending client relationships across the e-commerce industry and across international markets.
Before joining ChannelAdvisor in 2008, Paul acted as an executive partner for Iconitel Consulting Services, an information strategies firm. Before Iconitel, Paul served as president of Accolade Concepts, a marketing consulting services company, where he built new business by offering leading edge solutions for new product launches, marketing campaigns and internet strategies. Paul has also held executive positions in sales and product marketing with top start-up and established technology companies such as Venda, Thomson Dialog and Profound. Paul received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Hofstra University.
Suzanne Miglucci
Chief Marketing Officer
Suzanne provides strategy and execution of ChannelAdvisor’s global marketing presence. Her responsibilities include company and product branding, public relations, marketing/communications, event management and demand management activities to drive ChannelAdvisor’s growth strategies. Prior to ChannelAdvisor Suzanne served as Senior Director of Global Procurement Solution Marketing at SAP where she contributed to the direction and market awareness of portfolio solutions. Suzanne brings more than 15 years of experience in high tech marketing to ChannelAdvisor, having held executive marketing and business development roles at SciQuest, Arsenal Digital Solutions (now IBM) and Computer Associates. Suzanne holds a Master’s degree from Colorado State University, and undergraduate degrees from Fitchburg State College.
Tat Ng
Vice President of Engineering
Tat Ng, vice president of engineering, directs the global development of e-commerce solutions at ChannelAdvisor. By utilizing his extensive software development and SaaS operations experience, Tat maintains, nurtures and drives a product roadmap that meets the needs of ChannelAdvisor’s dynamic client base and strengthens ChannelAdvisor in its role as an industry leader.
Prior to joining ChannelAdvisor in 2010, Tat served as senior vice president of engineering and hosting operations at Rivermine, a provider of on-demand telecom expense management solutions based in Washington, D.C. Before Rivermine, Tat also held the vice president of engineering and IT operations position at ECnet, a provider of an online supply chain management platform for high-tech manufacturers.
Tat received a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering, with distinction, from the University of Arizona.
Brad Schomber
Vice President of Finance
Brad Schomber, vice president of finance for ChannelAdvisor, directs the finance, human resources, and business operations teams for the company. His global responsibilities include creating presentations for the board of directors and other interested parties, managing relationships with lending institutions, strategically evaluating and improving company methodologies, and ensuring compliance with various governmental agencies. Before joining ChannelAdvisor in 2006, Brad was a senior audit manager for Grant Thornton LLP and Arthur Andersen LLP. In this role, Brad worked with clients ranging from start-up technology firms to billion dollar manufacturers. Additionally, he has assisted on numerous mergers and acquisitions, as well as performed various consulting projects.
Brad received a Bachelor of Science degree from Wake Forest University.
Link Walls
Vice President of Product Management
As Vice President of Product Management at ChannelAdvisor, Link leads the product management team where he is responsible for driving the roadmap for ChannelAdvisor’s products and working closely with customers and engineering to deliver innovative solutions to the market.
Prior to joining ChannelAdvisor in 2005, Link managed online marketing for Art.com, an online retailer of posters, prints and original artwork. Previous to Art.com, Link worked as a management consultant helping companies in finance, strategy and organizational design. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Drexel University and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
Ryan Walsh
Vice President of Sales
Vice president of sales, Ryan Walsh is focused on the continued development and execution of ChannelAdvisor’s global sales strategy. He is currently responsible for customer acquisition, expansion and retention, as well as business development, account management and sales engineering across North America and Europe. Overseeing the sales organizations in both regions, Ryan is influential in positioning ChannelAdvisor as the essential partner for e-commerce worldwide.
Ryan started his career at ChannelAdvisor in 2001, and has consistently exceeded sales targets and achieved record bookings throughout his career as both an individual contributor and sales director. Prior to ChannelAdvisor he was a sales manager at GoTo Auctions, as well as various sales roles for AuctionRover.com. Ryan received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2011, Ryan received the Movers & Shakers Award from Business Leader Magazine based on his sales management skills and record-breaking sales performance.
Board of Directors
Prior to joining Kodiak Venture Partners, Lou was president, chief operating officer and director of ArrowPoint Communications where he was responsible for all of ArrowPoint’s functional organizations and focused on managing worldwide operations to achieve company growth objectives. ArrowPoint had a successful IPO in March 2000 and was acquired by Cisco Systems for $5.5 billion in June 2000. Lou is a board member of airwide solutions, Azimuth Systems, Egenera, GTESS, HighRoads, K-Motion Interactive, Newforma, SpaceClaim, and ChannelAdvisor. Prior to joining ArrowPoint, Lou was senior vice president of worldwide sales & marketing and a member of the board of GeoTel Communications, which was acquired by Cisco Systems in June 1999. He joined GeoTel early in its development stage and was a major contributor in building its worldwide sales and marketing presence. He was also instrumental in guiding the company through its IPO and eventual $2 billion acquisition. Previously, he served as senior vice president of marketing and operations for Parametric Technology Corporation from 1989 to 1994. Before Parametric, he was an executive at Prime Computer. Lou has been an active investor and board member of a number of companies including Atria (acquired by Pure) and Softdesk (acquired by Autodesk). Lou holds a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and a Master of Business Administration from Boston University.
Tim is the former chief operating officer for Red Hat (Nasdaq:RHAT) the world’s premier open source and Linux provider. As COO, Tim used his insight to accelerate the momentum of open source and expand Red Hat’s worldwide business, service and support operations. Prior to Red Hat, Tim was senior vice president of worldwide sales at Seattle-based Visio Corporation, where he was instrumental in growing the company from a start-up to a public company that was acquired by Microsoft for $1.5 billion.
Tim held the chief financial officer position at Blackbaud (NASDAQ: BLKB), a SaaS provider to non-profit organizations, before retiring in 2011. During his tenure, which lasted over a decade, Tim played a significant role in BlackBaud’s financial reporting, human resources and legal operations, and led the company’s initial public offering in 2004. In addition, he drove record growth at Blackbaud and headed a number of key acquisitions. With expertise in financial management, Tim has served on several boards such as PROS Holdings, Inc., ROS Revenue Management and ManageIQ, Inc. Tim’s prior roles include executive VP and CFO at Holiday Inn Worldwide as well as CFO of Mynd Corporation. He holds a B.A. in business from the University of Northern Iowa.
Bob joined Advanced Technology Ventures in 2002. He focuses on new investments in the communications, Internet infrastructure and software markets. Bob also plays an important role in adding strategic, operational value to the portfolio companies within ATV’s IT practice. Prior to joining ATV, Bob was a director at BancBoston Ventures where he focused on the telecommunications and IT infrastructure sectors and completed investments in Telephotonics (sold to DuPont) and AccessLan (sold to AFC). Bob has more than 15 years of hands-on operating experience including responsibilities as VP of sales at LHS Group (EMEA), where he built the firm’s Enhanced Services Division for the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions, and four years as a member of the senior management team at Priority Call Management (PCM), which was sold in 1999 to LHS Group. His management background also includes sales and marketing roles at Lotus Development and General Mills.
Patrick joined New Enterprise Associates (NEA) in 2006 as general partner, focusing on a broad range of information technology investments with particular emphasis on enterprise software, network infrastructure and Internet companies. Prior to joining NEA, Patrick was general partner of Grotech Capital Group where he specialized in high-tech investments and served on a number of boards including Advertising.com, Bluefire Security, CDnow, Fieldglass Software, Hillcrest Labs, SALIX Technologies, and Synchrologic. Prior to Grotech, Patrick spent nearly 10 years at Alex. Brown & Sons as an investment banker for high technology companies. At Alex. Brown & Sons, he was responsible for a range of financing and advisory projects including initial public offerings and mergers and acquisitions for high-tech companies. Prior to that, Patrick was a consultant with McKinsey & Co. Patrick served as an officer in the U.S. Navy where he spent substantially all his tenure on the staff of Admiral H.G. Rickover at the Headquarters of the Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion Program. Patrick is chairman of the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association. He received a Master of Business Administration with Distinction from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science from Villanova University.
